The first of these two themes is made by me, the "webmaster". It's my first ever, and probably not too great, but I think it's quite okay really. This is version 1.1. I added a few more sounds from version 1.0 and fixed a few minor problems. You'll notice the "my computer"-icon is the logo of the UoP. This is because I didn't want to use the Firaxis logo and because I personally prefer the UoP. If anyone thinks this is a bad thing, please let me know.

You can download the background image and insert it yourself since I don't know what resolution you use.

The other theme is made by Kryliss. The reason why it's so much larger is that the background graphics are included and there are a few more sounds (too many in my opinion, but you can just turn them off yourself). I advise you to try both, since I really can't tell you which one is best. I'd appreciate some feedback on what you think of mine though.

SMAC theme, 475kb	The webmaster's first theme ever. Zip includes sounds, icons, theme-file and readme. Go here to find a wallpaper. I suggest the UoP, but I assume others will look okay as well.
Another SMAC theme, 2,06mb	Pretty good SMAC-theme. Personally I thought there were too many sounds (I don't like sounds for every little thing I do). Contains the same background in BMP, JPG and HTML-format (with a couple of animations). Colors are okay as well. No desktop icons though.
