Goals in North Korea

The Mafia's only interest is to make a profit and control all the elicit trades in North Korea. They don't really care who's in charge of the government, but political turmoil always seems to always tip the situation to their favor.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Mafia soldiers resemble cockaroaches--they're not terribly sophisticated, but when you kill one, more just spring out of the woodwork.

• Since the organization is not a formal army, the Mafia lacks tanks, armored vehicles, and attack helicopters.
• Primarily use heavily modified civilian vehicles that are light and fast.
• Mafia's black market can provide player with civilian and faction vehicles to help the player blend in with the environment.
• Although the Mafia lacks its own air support, its many hackers can hijack the support options of other factions.
• The Mafia's many underground contacts can provide more obscure weapons like the KVSK sniper rifle, chemical weapons, EMP devices.

Faction Headquarters

Leader The mafia faction leader is a young Russian punk (late 20s), a post-glasnost thug looking to make a name for himself away from the established godfathers. His father is a powerful ex-KGB crimelord from Moscow who is a big player in the political arena. The FL is desperate to prove that he's smarter, tougher, and better than everybody else out there. He speaks English with a marked Russian accent and alternates between trying to play Mr. Cool and becoming very emotional when he is riled or excited. He's enjoys showing off his latest toys, girls, drugs, and cash.

Support Items

The Mafia does not offer any of its own airstrikes, but can temporarily hijack those of the other factions. Also, the Mafia's powerful Mi-26 helicopter can deliver practically any light vehicle (no tanks, helicopters, or heavy APCs) to the player.

The Mafia cannot extract prisoners.

Buys

The Mafia purchases vehicles that the player as "collected" from the environment.
