• Marlborough (London): Started by HRH, members of this club are either friends of "Bertie" (Prince Edward Albert, Prince of Wales), or very high nobility. Very rakish and high class. Distinguished by the silver cigarette cases given to members.
• Excentrics (London): A theater-going club that is big on parties, fast women, and gambling.
• Jockey (Paris): The club for young nobles and dissolutes, this group prides itself on disruptive pranks and aristocratic hijinks.
• Die Feldherren (Munchen): military club founded by veterans of the Napoleonic Wars. Made up of veterans and active officers of distinction. Must have some distinction in your record (or very good connections) to get in. Dedicated to maintaining excellence in the Bavarian military.

• Reform (London): Liberal club favored by businessmen, bankers, publishers. Phileas Fogg's favorite.
• Carlton (London): Conservative club across the street, favored by Steam Lords and industrialists. Very formal, stuffy, and has a lot of political clout.
• Le Legion (Paris): The club of choice among the bourgeois, especially those with a military background. Napoleon III is a member, by acclamation.
• Constitution (Munchen): A political club, made up of progressive politicians who support constitutional monarchy.

• Salon de Paris (Paris): Founded by the Empress several years ago, this is a society dedicated to fostering literary and artistic circles. Gossipy, nasty.
• Chatelaine (London): A club for the wives of the gentry, centering around events of the London Season. But investment and political power are the main interests of this ladies' circle.
• Athena (Munchen): An intellectuals' club for women of the mind; great writers, artists, philosophers.

• Geographic Society (London): A society of travelers, explorers, and colonizers. Definitely in the "white man's burden", "great hunter" mold.
• Explorer's Club (Munchen): For African adventurers and the like. This club prides itself on its' members abilities to blend invisibly into other cultures and truly observe them. Sir Francis Burton is a member.
• Steam Engineers' Society (London): A club for steam engineers and other inventors, founded by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The highlight is the club's steam-powered automaton serving staff!
• Societe de Calculation (Paris): The original computer nerds' society; founded to advance Calculation Science. Big on theory lectures.

• Whitefriars (London): Literary club for the London set. A very clever and witty society.
• Garrick (London): Actor's club devoted to theatrical pursuits, plays, and opera. You must be a thespian or playwright to join.
• Academe (Munchen): A meeting place for local writers, artists, philosophers, and thespians. Like Whitefriars, but with better beer.
• Die Pinakothekern (Munchen): art-lovers, patrons, collectors, and artists of distinction. Named after Munich's two great art museums, the Old and New Pinakothek.

The United States Secret Service: Two-fisted, fast-drawing, laconic agents, their mission is to thwart plots against the U.S. government and stop any Evil Masterminds who threaten American citizens. Hidden boot weapons and secret gadgets are definitely part of the package. Based in Washington, D.C.

The World Crime League: One part Cosa Nostra, two parts SMERSH, the World Crime League's goal is world domination, nothing less. In addition to controlling vast vice, theft, and racketeering operations, the Crime League also plots to overthrow governments, extort money through terrorism, and create Infernal Devices to control all Mankind.

The World Anarchist Brotherhood: Led by the shadowy Karl Marx, the Brotherhood's goal is to totally destroy all existing governments (possibly to replace them with a Socialist paradise.) Bombs, Infernal Devices, and assassinations are all part of their program of terror and intimidation.

The Prussian Imperial Service: The eyes and ears of von Bismarck himself, dedicated to achieving his goals. Well-equipped, ruthless, and very clever, with agents all over New Europa, the Imperial Service is feared and respected by agents of all allegiances.

The Bavarian Secret Service: Swashbuckling, daring, very Three Musketeers, but with more style than equipment. Mostly military officers and noblemen, they are loyal and devoted to King and Country, and make up in daring what they lack in gadgetry.

Her Majesty's Secret Service: Debonair, suave, and gadget-packed. Mostly recruited from London's Fast Set nobles, the British Secret Service stops threats to the Empire no matter where they originate. As a group, fair, but with several outstanding agents.

The Illuminated Brotherhood of Bayern is the original "Illuminati". They are dedicated to spreading enlightened social and governing principles. They specialize in spells concerned with the mental control of others and the projection of the physical form onto other planes of existence.

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn is a sinister order based on ancient Egyptian priesthoods of Isis. They are committed to the idea that sorcerers are best suited to rule society. They specialize in necromancy and summoning beings from other dimensions.

The Grand Order of the Freemasons Lodge are the oldest order of sorcerers in New Europa, devoted to promoting brotherly love, faith and charity. They specialize in alchemy and illusion.

The Order of the Temple of Jerusalem is a descendant of the Knights Templars who use Arabic magic acquired during the Crusades. They are still considered a militant order, the implacable foes of those who use animal or human sacrifice in their magic, or who summon evil spirits. They specialize in spells dealing with the manipulation of living matter and with physical movement (levitation, flying, etc.)

The Mystic Lodge of the Temple of Ra is a relatively recent order blending sorcery and technology. Members believe themselves to be descendants of the Pharaohs, destined to rule the world through a combination of Egyptian sorcery and technological superscience. To this end they number many scientists among their numbers. A small group, but ruthless and zealous. They specialize in spells dealing with the manipulation of Time.

The Theosophistic Masters of the White Lodge believe that they are agents on Earth of a race of powerful ethereal beings known as the Mahatmas, who formerly ruled all the Earth, but now guide their disciples from the lost continents of Mu and Lemuria. They reject technology, and encourage mankind to embrace a simple life of meditation. The Lodge frequently sabotages technology with their sorcery. They specialize in spells dealing with the use and manipulation of dreams, and of clairvoyance, and divination.

The Holy Order of St. Boniface is the official sorcerous order of the Church, and since the Reformation has been ecumenical in its membership, numbering both Catholic and Protestant sorcerers. The order is devoted to combating evil wizardry. They specialize in healing spells and spells of warding.

The Ancient Brotherhood of the Druidic Temple descend from the ancient Celtic priesthoods of Britain, and prize herbal knowledge and a respect for the natural world. They remain neutral in the conflicts between other sorcerous orders, taking a role only when their sacred groves or standing stones are threatened. They specialize in spells dealing with control of the elements and weather.
