The Twelve Mirrors
In the late 1990s, a series of paintings were commissioned by an unnamed representative of the Secret Senate. Though mystery surrounds their origins, the paintings are said to depict Carcosa. They were briefly displayed in the Hague in late 1999, before disappearing.
Euphoria
Titled Red Pawn, Red Hair, or the Alley Pool painting, it depicts a girl lying in a pool of something like blood. Critics have taken exception to the overly reflective quality of the blood and other details of the painting, but among Xanth enthusiasts it is generally lauded as the 'left hand door'.
