Astral Option

     An escape option (Operation Freespace) pursued by small groups of DG operatives considered building habitats in Astral space, removed from events entirely. A lot of experiments, and failures, were pursued in the 2010s and 2020s. At some point, DG command structure lost contact with the Astral Project, and was not able (or inclined) to reestablish contact.
